4. Educator Recruitment and Retention
District incorporates students and families in educator recruitment and retention efforts.
INDICATOR 4.1 Establish policies and practices for engaging students and families in the recruitment and retention of educators and other staff members.
INDICATOR 4.2 Establish a written code of conduct and/or code of ethics that guide how educators and staff members engage students and families.
INDICATOR 4.3 Recruit and retain educators and staff members who reflect the full diversity of the district student population, and who demonstrate the skills and experience needed to build strong, caring relationships with students and families.
INDICATOR 4.4 Communicate to students and families district goals, strategies, and progress for educator and staff recruitment.
INDICATOR 4.5 Hire and retain qualified family engagement staff members responsible for overseeing district-wide capacity building for transformative family engagement, including parent-educator and student-educator partnerships that support student learning experiences, opportunities, and outcomes.
INDICATOR 4.6 Partner with students and families to continuously improve educator and staff member recruitment and retention policies and practices.
