7. School-wide Social and Emotional Behavioral Development
District incorporates students and families into the design, implementation and evaluation of policies and practices that address and support social and emotional behavioral development across all students, families, educators, and staff members in a school.
INDICATOR 7.1 Partner with students and families to co-design and evaluate non-punitive models of social and emotional behavioral development.
INDICATOR 7.2 Engage students, families, communities and partner organizations in designing and continuously improving non-punitive social and emotional behavioral support models
INDICATOR 7.3 Provide ongoing training for students, families, educators and staff members in non-punitive models for social and emotional behavioral support and development.
INDICATOR 7.4 Establish independent analyses of uniform complaints to the district Ombudsperson to help identify opportunities to improve district academic and behavioral discipline practices that involve students, educators, and/or staff members.
INDICATOR 7.5 Work with students and families to identify third-party facilitators to facilitate conflict resolution and restoration between students, families, educators and staff members using Restorative Justice practices.
INDICATOR 7.6 Establish and consistently implement Restorative Justice policies and practices across all schools.
